Covid Magnolia 19

“The Interpretation is in the eye of the beholder.”

“Interpretations” is a series of artworks created using a combination of stream-of-consciousness drawing with “ikebana” – the Japanese art of flower arranging. The series aims to bring out the inner qualities of flowers and other imperfect, organic forms to express a sense of emotion and beauty. This particular one I made during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, so I figured it would be appropriate to only make 19 editions of the print.

The Giclée prints are made using Epson UltraChrome K3™ UV resistant archival inks and printed on Hahnemühle German etching® 310 g/m² white paper, giving each print a smooth velvety finish.
